ENROLMENTS

Enroling your child

Holland Park Kindergarten is a community based, non-profit organisation, run by a voluntary management committee composed of parents who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. Children must be 4 years of age by June 30th in the year they attend.

Your child can be placed on our waiting list from birth. This incurs a non-refundable administration fee of $20 payable via direct deposit on-line or by EFTPOS at the Kindergarten. The deposit does not guarantee your position in a kindergarten program. Siblings of past students are given priority on waiting lists as per the Holland Park Kindergarten Constitution. The enrolment process usually begins in Term 2 of the year prior to entry.

Extended Kindy Hours Care

OUR EKH program operates from 3.30pm to 6.00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and provides families with the opportunity to attend a community kindergarten program with the longer days available.  We employ additional staff to run this program which provides children with a relaxed afternoon session with our play focussing on the outdoors.

Fees Schedule

Fees are invoiced prior to the commencement of each term and are payable within 2 weeks of the
start of each term. Payment can be made by bank transfer (preferred method), cash or credit/debit
card. Please note a 1% surcharge will be added for all credit card payments.

Please note that no charge is made for centre vacations, but fees must be paid for all public holidays
and any days of non-attendance

2022 Monday group Fees: $1181.00 per term
2022 Friday group Fees: $1061.00 per term

Fees are non-refundable when enrolment at the service ceases during a term.

The Monday Group Extended Hours Program does not qualify for funding from the Queensland
Government and unfortunately no subsidies or fee reductions are available to recipients of the QKFS
Kindy Plus Support subsidy for this portion of the Monday group program fees.

QKFS Plus Kindy Support Subsidy
The QKFS Plus Subsidy is provided directly to the Kindergarten to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for
eligible families.  To be eligible for the QKFS Plus Kindy Support a family must either:

  •  hold a current Health Care Card, Veterans Affairs Card or Australian Government Pension
Concession card with automatic Health Care Card entitlements, or
  • identify as Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or South Sea Islander (or have a child who does), or
  • have three or more children, of the same age, enrolled in the same year.
